Watercolour Secrets

This is another treasure. Bob Davies has produced a VERY extensive and comprehensive watercolor course. In fact, along with Peter Saw's course mentioned above, it is the most comprehensive course I have seen. It is presented as a a series of 9 (count them, nine!) DVD's, each with hours of video demonstrations covering a vast array of techniques and subjects. Bob is a very talented, and congenial artist and presents the material in a very friendly and practical manner. Many of the techniques are presented in the context of full painting demos, which gives you a great hands-on experience of how they work in a real painting. This is a monumental effort by Bob, with an outstanding product to show for it.

Susan is one of the most talented artist I know, and she is a very dear friend. She has a passion for learning that is unrivaled, and she has put more work into experimenting and studying watercolor than anyone I know. Check out her breath-taking work.

Peter Saw Watercolors and Pastels Peter is a master artist and outstanding teacher. Check out his beautiful work here.

Gerd Gerhard Art: The art of Gerd Gerhard Gerd is another masterful watercolorist who has been an inspiration for me for years. He has a wonderful style full of color and character.

Paintings UK: The art of Pete Dimmock "Peaceful Pete" is a wonderfully creative, unique, and very talented artist in watercolor and various other media. Give him a visit, and tell him I sent you.

Malaysian Watercolors This is the home of Swee; an inspirational artist who's work will take you on a heartfelt journey through his homeland of Malaysia.

Arti Imitates Art: This site, run by Kyle Murphy, is a gathering place for sharing ideas and artworks for 2d and 3d art. Kyle has some wonderful digital 3d art, and in the watercolor section you will find various watercolor artists, including some of my favorite paintings by Mary Murphy

I Draw and Paint: This is an art forum and community that was put together by Bob Davies, mentioned above. It is a very large community with lots and lots of things to explore.
